Landing Net Manufacturing Processes & Quality Control

RTI follows a structured manufacturing workflow designed for consistent quality. All materials are carefully selected, frames and nets are precision-assembled, and each product undergoes functional, load, and corrosion testing before final inspection and shipment.

Material selection & sourcing

We use 6063-T5 aluminum alloy for frames, stainless steel for joints, and premium nylon or rubber/PVC-coated mesh. All materials are selected for durability and suitability for freshwater or saltwater environments.
Frame fabrication

Aluminum tubes are cut, bent, and welded using CNC cutting and bending machines, ensuring precise hoop dimensions and consistent strength. Telescopic and folding segments are machined with tight tolerances for smooth operation.
Net bag production

Mesh materials (nylon, rubber/PVC-coated, silicone) are cut, shaped, and assembled using automated mesh fixtures combined with skilled hand assembly, ensuring proper alignment and tension.
Surface finishing

Frames are anodized or powder-coated for corrosion resistance, and handles receive rubber or silicone grip coating via dipping or injection molding for durability and comfort.
Assembly & mechanism installation

Telescopic shafts, folding joints, and locking mechanisms are installed using precision jigs. Injection molding machines and assembly lines ensure consistent fit and secure locking for each net.
Functional & durability testing

Nets are cycled through 1000+ folding/extension operations, joints undergo torque and stress tests, and mesh tension is measured to ensure long-term reliability.
Corrosion & load testing

Metal parts are tested in 24–72 hr salt-spray chambers, and nets are load-tested to carry up to 15 kg (33 lbs) including fish and water to simulate real-world usage.
Final inspection & packaging

QC includes dimensional checks, mesh inspection, surface finish verification, and OEM labeling. Products are packed with care for bulk shipments or retail distribution, ensuring safe delivery and consistent quality.
