A mini aluminum fishing pliers is a pocket-size hand tool anglers use to remove hooks, open split rings, and cut fishing line. It pairs a lightweight aluminum body with a sharp cutter. Anglers carry it for quick terminal-tackle work and fast hook removal on the boat or shore.

37g Mini Aluminum Fishing Pliers Product Description

RTI’s Mini Aluminum Fishing Pliers measure 11.5 × 5 × 1 cm and weigh about 37 g. The handle and body use machined aluminum for low weight and strength. A tungsten steel side cutter handles mono, fluorocarbon and light braid. The tool is spring-loaded for reliable one-hand use. It includes a small-bevel jaw and a split-ring/hook removal tip.

RTI offers multiple colors (Red, Black, Green, Blue, Silver) and supports OEM/ODM and wholesale orders.

Advantages of 37g Mini Aluminum Fishing Pliers

Advantages of 37g Mini Aluminum Fishing Pliers

  • Tungsten steel side cutter
Sharp and durable. Cuts mono, fluorocarbon and thin braid cleanly. Replaceable cutters are possible on some models.
  • Lightweight aluminum body
Machined aluminum keeps weight low (~37 g) for less hand fatigue. It fits easily in a pocket or tackle box.
  • Ergonomic contoured handle
The shaped handle improves grip and control. It helps you keep a firm hold during hook removal.
  • Spring-loaded action for one-hand use
The spring returns the jaws ready for the next action. This speeds up frequent tasks and enables single-hand operation.
  • Split-ring & hook removal tip
A precise tip makes opening split rings and pulling hooks fast and safe. Works with small terminal tackle and common hooks.
  • Compact, pocketable size
At 11.5 × 5 × 1 cm the pliers store easily. Ideal as a backup tool or a primary lightweight set for kayak, shore or travel fishing.

37g Mini Aluminum Fishing Pliers Manufacturing Process

Fishing Plier Manufacturing process

  1. Design & tooling: Finalize CAD drawings for body, jaw profile and cutter pocket. Create jigs and packaging dielines.
  2. Material procurement: Source aluminum alloy blanks and tungsten steel (or tungsten carbide) cutter blanks.
  3. CNC machining: Machine aluminum handles, jaws and contours. Cut jaw bevels and cutter pockets to spec.
  4. Cutter processing: Heat-treat, grind and sharpen the tungsten/tungsten-carbide cutter to ensure a clean cut.Surface finish: Anodize or color-coat aluminum parts to add corrosion resistance and color options.
  5. Assembly: Fit jaws, insert side cutter, install spring and fasten with stainless hardware. Fit split-ring tip and test action.
  6. Quality control & testing: Inspect dimensions, test cutter performance (cut test on mono/braid), check spring action and finish quality.
  7. Packaging & labeling: Package in color box or retail/blister packing. Apply OEM labels or private-label packaging as required.
  8. Shipping & documentation: Complete packing list, QC report, and ship by agreed method.

Q1: Can the pliers handle saltwater fishing?

A1: Yes. The anodized aluminum body resists corrosion, but we recommend rinsing with fresh water after each saltwater trip to extend the tool’s life.

Q2: Do the cutters stay sharp with frequent use?

A2: The tungsten side cutters are durable and stay sharp for many trips. For heavy braid or wire leaders, we suggest carrying a dedicated cutter to reduce wear.

Q3: Are these pliers suitable for travel or kayak fishing?

A3: At only 37 g and pocket size, they are ideal for kayak, shore, or travel fishing. They take little space in a tackle box or pocket, making them easy to carry anywhere.

Q4: Can I order customized logo or packaging?

A4: Yes. RTI supports OEM branding and private-label packaging. Provide your logo file and packaging idea, and our team can prepare a quote.

Q5: What if the spring loses tension over time?

A5: The spring is designed for long-term use. If it weakens, it can be replaced during maintenance. For bulk OEM orders, spare parts can be included upon request.

Q6: What is the usual lead time for bulk orders?

A6: Lead time depends on order size and customization. Standard production runs are usually completed within 50–60 days. Contact our sales team for exact scheduling.
